WOO Y'ALL!

Please complete the adoption application below and be sure to hit Submit before leaving this page.

After receipt of the adoption application, one of our volunteers will examine the application for completeness and contact you with any questions.  A volunteer will contact references, and all potential adoptive homes will undergo a home visit before approval.  Upon adoption, adopters will be required to sign an adoption contract that is legally binding.

Our adoption fee is $350.
This fee is to help offset expenses in caring for the rescue dogs, including veterinary services such as vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm treatment when necessary, heartworm and parasite prevention, and daily care such as food.
Note: the $25 application fee will be credited towards this fee so $325 will be due at the time of adoption.

Our requirements:

We require that all owned pets be spayed/neutered, have annual veterinary exams, be up to date on recommended vaccinations, and all dogs be on heartworm prevention.  We will verify this with your veterinarian. If your veterinarian cannot verify, we will close your application. Please talk with your veterinarian before applying to ensure they all correct information on file.

We require that all pets live indoors with the family.

Out of State Adoptions:

We will adopt dogs out to various locations in the states, provided we are able to find a volunteer to perform a home visit.  However, potential adopters must travel to Birmingham, Alabama to adopt a dog.  We do not transport dogs to adopters.

If you have any questions, please email us info@alsiberianhuskyrescue.com

Please add our email address to your contacts/address book to be sure you receive communications from us.  Please check your spam/junk folder if you do not hear from us within a few days.

Timeline

We are an all volunteer (unpaid) organization.  Our volunteers have regular jobs, families, and responsibilities outside of rescue.  We do our very best to process applications as quickly as possible.  It may, however, take up to two weeks to fully process and approve an application for adoption.  This can depend on several factors, such as how quickly references respond to our requests and how easily we are able to find a home visitor in the applicant's area.  Please be patient with us as we work to perform due diligence on every application we receive to ensure our huskies go to the best home possible.

Please complete the application in its entirety.  Failure to provide requested information will result in a delay in processing.  We reserve the right to deny an application for any reason.  Processing can take up to two weeks as we are an all volunteer organization.

APPLICATION FEE $25 REQUIRED:

We require a $25 application fee. The fee must be submitted at the time of application by using the Donate button below. This fee will be applied towards the adoption fee for those approved and who complete an adoption. It is not refundable, regardless of application status. Please think carefully and read all of our policies before submitting an application.

**An application will not be processed until the fee is submitted.

Be certain to note "application fee"  on the paypal payment.
